Life Saving Equipment

Barangay Commonwealth holds charitible events to channel donations of funds and equipment that would save lives in the event of emergency or calamity. The donated specialist equipment will NOT be only used to assist the members of the Barangay Commonwealth but to also assist those who are in need throughout the nation.

 

The other purpose is to raise funds to cover the shortfall between Government funding and actual costs for specialist equipment - thereby reducing the associated financial burden, enable timely access to critical equipment, and maximising the benefit of early intervention programs.

 

 

Family Oriented Barangay

It is also to maintain reciprocal links with similarly motivated organisations, providing funding specifically targeted toward specialist equipment that is designed to enhance learning opportunities of children.  As well as, to cover the associated costs for occasional respite for families caring for children from financially challeneged families where desperately needed.  Along with the donations, Barangay Commonwealth has a program to raise awareness in the community of the associated costs and challenges of raising a child in financially challenged predicament, the benefits of early intervention through family planning.
